The eighth Vancouver SkeptiCamp is happening soon. SkeptiCamp is a fun, informative, one-day, free, open, attendee-driven, grassroots science & skepticism conference featuring many brief (~10 minute) presentations with Q&A sessions. We hope to make this year’s event as successful as the previous seven Vancouver SkeptiCamps, but we need your participation.

Registration is now open at the Vancouver SkeptiCamp website, so why not pick a topic and start working on your presentation today?

Speaking time slots tend to fill up fast, but I ask all local skeptics to think of a topic that YOU would like to give a short talk about. It can be anything that interests you and that’s related to skepticism, the paranormal, science, pseudoscience, critical thinking, conspiracy theories, mystery investigation, irrationality, or how to promote a more rational world. In particular, I’d like to encourage more women of Vancouver to consider giving a presentation. We have lots of awesome skeptical and science-minded women in our community, and this would be great opportunity to highlight their knowledge and abilities.

You can also RSVP and leave comments on our Facebook event page.
