April 14, 2012 Astro-themed Saturday Skeptics in the Pub

These occasional Saturday Skeptics in the Pub nights seem to be quite popular, especially with our out-of-town skeptics, so let’s do another one in April.

April 14 happens to be the 100th anniversary of the night RMS Titanic struck an iceberg, but it’s also the 383rd anniversary of the birth of astronomer Christiaan Huygens, and it’s only two days after Yuri’s Night, the worldwide celebration of Yuri Gagarin’s historic first space flight 51 years ago, so I think we should have a space/astronomy theme for the night. I’ll put together a trivia pub quiz to go with that theme so you can test your knowledge against your fellow science enthusiasts. I hope to see you there!

You can RSVP to this event on Facebook or Meetup.
